Whether you’re visiting a loved one, exploring career opportunities, or stopping by for a quick gift, Vernon Health offers helpful services and amenities to make your visit easier and more comfortable.

Visitor Entrance & Parking

Vernon Health’s main lobby and free patient/visitor parking are accessible from South Main Street via South or Hickory Streets. Follow the directional signs to the covered drive-up canopy, ideal for patient drop-off and pick-up.

All visitors should enter through the main entrance on the first floor.

Visiting Hours & Guidelines

While Vernon Health does not enforce restricted visiting hours, the preferred time to visit is after 11:00 a.m., when most medical care and physician rounds are complete. We recommend that visitors depart by 8:30 p.m. to support patient rest.

Under special circumstances, family may stay overnight.

Guidelines:

Parents may stay with hospitalized children.
Please do not visit if you have a cold or respiratory symptoms.
Mylar balloons are welcome; latex balloons are not allowed.
Smoking and tobacco products (including e-cigarettes) are prohibited on all hospital grounds and buildings.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

Operated by the Friends of Vernon Health, the Gift Shop is located in the main lobby and offers:

Get-well gifts and flowers
Clothing, jewelry, and home décor
Infant and toddler items

100% of proceeds benefit Vernon Health programs and services.

Dining

Located on the hospital’s lower level, The Bistro offers fresh meals and snacks.

Hours:

Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 9:30 a.m.
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Days: Monday – Friday

Other Options:

24/7 vending machines across from The Bistro with sandwiches, snacks, and drinks.

Additional Services

ATM: Available in the main lobby.
Mail Drop: USPS mailbox located under the hospital’s drive-up canopy. Mail is picked up Monday through Friday.
