Vernon Health offers Virtual Services to give patients flexible access to care from the comfort of home. This option helps you stay connected with your provider when traveling to the clinic may be difficult or unnecessary. If you’d like to learn more about scheduling a virtual visit, contact your Vernon Health Clinic for assistance. Our team is here to help you understand your options and prepare for a smooth, supportive experience.
Before your visit, take a moment to think about what you want to discuss. Write down two or three concerns or questions so you don’t forget anything important. Asking yourself, “Why do I need to be seen today?” or “What is my biggest concern?” can help you focus the appointment.
Try keeping a short symptom diary in your phone or on paper. Note when your symptoms began, how they’ve changed, what makes them worse, and what provides relief. This information helps your provider understand your condition more clearly during the virtual visit.
Some concerns—such as rashes, bites, or skin changes—can be evaluated effectively using photos. If you are sending images, draw a small circle around the affected area and include several photos with dates and times. Contact your clinic if you need help uploading these images to MyChart before your appointment. If you are concerned about a rash and experience additional symptoms or think you may be having an allergic reaction, contact your clinic immediately.
Medication refills, provider notes, or paperwork may not require a virtual appointment. For medication refills, start by contacting your pharmacy. You can also use the Vernon Health MyChart portal to request information, ask routine questions, or send updates to your clinic. If you are not yet enrolled, contact your clinic for help getting started.

A virtual visit allows you to meet with your Vernon Health provider using secure video technology from the comfort of your home. It offers a convenient way to discuss certain health concerns, review symptoms, and receive guidance without traveling to the clinic.
Virtual visits are often appropriate for minor illnesses, follow-up appointments, medication reviews, skin concerns, and ongoing condition management. If your provider determines that an in-person exam or testing is needed, they will guide you on the next steps.
Before your visit, write down your main concerns and any recent changes in symptoms. Make sure you are in a quiet, well-lit space with a reliable internet connection. If needed, upload photos through MyChart before your appointment so your provider can review them during your visit.
At Vernon Health, we’re committed to providing patient-centered, compassionate care wherever you are in your health journey. Explore our trusted providers and convenient locations to find the right support for you.
