Vernon Memorial Hospital first opened for patient care in September.

Emergency Department Opened
Acquired the Kickapoo Valley Medical Clinic (Soldiers Grove), Bland Clinic (Westby), and Hirsch Clinic (Viroqua), and completed a three-story hospital addition including the Emergency Room.
Acquired the La Farge Medical Clinic and Solar Town Pharmacy (Soldiers Grove), added the Medical Office Building to the hospital, and relocated the Hirsch Clinic into the new Medical Office Building.
Completed the new La Farge Clinic facility; built out Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy on the Medical Office Building’s 3rd floor; finished the GI buildout; remodeled the hospital kitchen and café; added a Surgery Suite and updated the Operating Room; remodeled 2nd South and the Emergency Room; and upgraded Imaging, including mammography and X-ray services.
From 2021–2025, VMH assessed the need for an updated brand, introduced new Mission, Vision, and Values with a strategic plan, gathered staff and community input to shape a refreshed identity, and in 2025 officially rebranded from Vernon Memorial Healthcare to Vernon Health.
