How We Make a Difference

The Friends of Vernon Health help fund programs and initiatives that directly benefit patients and families, including:

  • Scholarships for students pursuing healthcare careers

  • Capital equipment for hospital and clinic departments

  • Newborn gift baskets, including handmade burp cloths and bibs

  • Community outreach projects, such as school supply drives and Toys for Tots

We also support staff education, training exercises, and Vernon Health–sponsored events.

Partners of the Wisconsin Hospital Association (WHA)

The Friends of Vernon Health are proud members of the Western District of the Partners of WHA — a statewide network of nearly 3,000 healthcare volunteers committed to service, advocacy, and education. This partnership connects 5 districts and 33 member hospital groups across Wisconsin, strengthening volunteer programs and community health initiatives throughout the state.
