At Vernon Memorial Healthcare, we are proud to introduce Nicole Mueller, FNP, a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner who brings extensive experience and a compassionate approach to patient care.
Originally from Holmen, Nicole now resides in Westby with her husband and their four pets, two dogs named Scout and Hazelnut and two cats named Squirt and Corky.
Nicole’s healthcare journey began in high school and she has been part of the medical field for over a decade. Her experience includes working in psych and drug and alcohol detox with chapter holds, IV therapy with a vascular access team, and Imaging Services where she assisted with cardiac CTs, hydration, and PICC line placements.

She has specialized expertise in vascular access and holds PICC certification utilizing ultrasound and 3CG technology.
Nicole is an active member of the Wisconsin Nurses Association, the American Nurses Association, and Sigma Theta Tau. Her philosophy centers on patient focused holistic and collaborative care, guided by the principle of treating others as she would like to be treated.
Among her career highlights are delivering a baby and identifying a fracture during a follow up appointment while she was a student. She is passionate about breaking language barriers in healthcare and is currently learning American Sign Language and Spanish.
As a Family Nurse Practitioner, Nicole is committed to providing primary care where it is needed most. Joining Vernon Memorial Healthcare allows her to serve her community and neighbors while making a meaningful impact on their lives.
Outside of work, Nicole enjoys hunting, trapping, gardening, crafting, reading, and spending time outdoors. Her dedication to exercise and lifelong learning reflects her holistic approach to both healthcare and life.
