When an illness or minor injury can’t wait, Vernon Health Urgent Care offers prompt, compassionate care—without an appointment. Our walk-in clinic provides a convenient, cost-saving alternative to the Emergency Department for non-life-threatening needs. We’re here evenings and weekends to support you and your family when your regular clinic is closed.
Located through the Emergency entrance on the back side of the building, our team ensures you receive timely, patient-focused care close to home.
We treat common illnesses such as colds, flu, sinus infections, sore throat, strep, and ear infections. Our team also provides evaluation and treatment for mild asthma, bronchitis, and respiratory infections.
Our clinic offers on-site X-rays and basic lab tests, including strep, flu, pregnancy testing, urinalysis, and bloodwork. We also provide testing for COVID-19, RSV, influenza, and select STDs.
We care for minor cuts, scrapes, sprains, strains, and simple fractures. On-site X-rays help us diagnose injuries quickly, and we also treat minor burns, rashes, insect bites, and non-severe allergic reactions.
Providers can prescribe medications for many common illnesses and infections. We help you begin treatment quickly so you can focus on healing.
Urgent Care is appropriate for non-life-threatening concerns that require attention sooner than a regular clinic visit. Examples include bronchitis, minor injuries, cuts or lacerations, ear infections, simple fractures, sore throats, upset stomach, vomiting, diarrhea, hives, and rashes.
Emergency care is required for serious or life-threatening symptoms. These include chest pain, difficulty breathing, severe abdominal pain, stroke symptoms, major injuries, choking, swallowing poison, severe cuts, high fever, allergic drug reactions, and significant falls.
We provide walk-in care—no appointment needed. Our team evaluates your symptoms, performs diagnostic testing if necessary, and develops a treatment plan tailored to your needs. Wait times may vary depending on patient volume, but we work to see you as promptly as possible. If needed, we can provide a work or school excuse after your visit.

Urgent Care treats non-life-threatening conditions that still need prompt attention. This includes minor cuts, sprains, flu symptoms, ear infections, UTIs, mild asthma, and minor burns. The goal is to provide timely care when waiting for a regular appointment isn’t the best option.
You should go directly to the Emergency Department for severe concerns such as chest pain, difficulty breathing, stroke symptoms, major injuries, severe burns, or uncontrolled bleeding. These require immediate, advanced medical care.
